We all know Netflix must be pretty smart. After-all, it’s got us hooked to paying a monthly fee to watch shows that will make us really unproductive in our lives. Time to study or clean the house? Nah let’s just watch one more episode of this new show we’re addicted to. Six hours later and you’ve still not moved.
But none of us realised exactly how smart that Netflix is. It actually knows how many episodes of certain shows it will take for us to become addicted.
Arrow – Episode 8
It will take you a hefty 8 episodes of season 1 of Arrow to get hooked. Which seems surprising, who wouldn’t instantly be hooked to seeing Oliver Queen doing those pole sit-ups? Oliver Queen you have failed Netflix!
Gossip Girl – Episode 3
It only takes 3 episodes for us to become addicted to Netflix favourite Gossip Girl. We instantly fell in love with these posh, rich kids and all their problems. Plus you have to keep watching so you find out who Gossip Girl is.
How I Met Your Mother – Episode 8
Another Netflix show that takes awhile to get you hooked is How I Met Your Mother. It’s well worth the wait for – even if it’s just for the hilarious antics of Barney. Plus you need to find out the identity of the mother.
Dexter – Episode 3
It only takes 3 episodes for your to get hooked to the best Serial Killer on Netflix. Dexter and his evil antics will keep you shocked and desperate to see the next episode.
The Walking Dead – Episode 2
Netflix LOVES zombies, which is why you’ll be hooked to The Walking Dead after just the second episode. If you love gore, being terrified and seeing lots of your favourite characters dying then you’ll love The Walking Dead.
Orange is the New Black – Episode 3
Orange is the New Black was the Netflix original that caught everyone’s attention. Indeed, people were actually counting down the days for the new seasons. Set in a woman’s jail, it’s very addictive watching what all the inmates get up. Spoiler: it’s usually badness!
Breaking Bad – Episode 2
One of the most popular shows to ever be created, Breaking Bad is utterly addictive. So it makes sense that it will take just two episodes for you to be hooked on Netflix. Beware though, Breaking Bad can be very emotionally traumatic.
