How Is Coronavirus Spread?

COVID-19 spreads from person to person through droplets. For example if you are standing less than 6-feet from COVID-19 infected and if they cough or sneeze, the droplets can end up on you.  The other way it spreads is through hard surfaces. If someone infected with COVID-19 coughs on sneezes on hard surfaces such as tables, door knobs and publicly used lifts etc. Someone touches that hard surface and later if they touch their mouth or nose the virus can enter into their system.

1- Wash hands with a soap and water for 20 or 30 seconds. However, an alcoholic sanitizer with 60% or 70% of alcohol is ideal.

2- Keep the children away from sick members of family specially if they are old and sick.

3- Teach kids to always use a tissue for a sneeze or cough and throw it after single use. If the tissue is not available just sneeze into the arm or elbow but not hands.

4- Keep the house clean by making sure to have it disinfected with sprays and wipes.

5- Avoid touching the face, mouth or nose.

6- Do avoid travelling outside

Are masks useful?

It is better if the COVID-19 infected people wear masks rather than the whole public. This way they are more useful.
