Cover art is extremely important. It sets the tone for the entire album and adds another dimension to the listening experience. That single piece of artwork can create a visual experience in the mind that travels through each track, and stays in the mind long after the record has reached its end. Well, glory be to these artists who probably didn’t care about what the buyer must feel about their albums or even buy them after the sight of these terrible album covers. Pardon us if we are very harsh, but after looking at these awful album covers you will left in praise for the selection of our words. Hold on for the sight next may not be visually pleasing, here come the worst invented or rather put designs existing in the world of album covers:
1. 12. Jennifer Hudson – I Remember Me (2011)
We can applaud Ms Hudson’s efforts for attempting a new kind of pose for this record. Unfortunately, it turned out more ‘zombie in search of brains’ than fierce R&B artist! Better luck next time, Jen.
