Laura Jenkinson is a London-based make-up artist and blogger who has recently shot to fame with her amazing drawings of cartoon characters on her own face. Everything from Garfield to Homer Simpson – Laura Jenkison is a superstar with a make-up brush with her photographs receiving thousands of ‘likes’ on social media sites. We especially love how she manages to convey the personalities of the cartoon she’s painting.
The 25 year old makes pint-sized portraits that incorporate her lips, chin and neck. Quite often she’ll use own teeth as if they belong to the characters that she is creating too.
Despite how detailed her drawings are Laura says they are simpler than she might think. Once she has decided to try and paint a new character on her face she simply gets a picture, uses her mirror as a guide and draws straight on to her face. As simple as she makes it sound, we doubt we’d be able to do it ourselves!
