The 2024 year has just began and the words new years resolutions have been used a fair bit, but how much of what people vow to practise will actually happen or be useful at all to a new year. 1. Skip The Coffee

Why not make a flask full off coffee to take to work instead of buying one and save all the money you would of spent instead! It will quickly add up and you won’t see yourself missing it as you would normally spend that small change anyway! This might mean you can finally get that holiday abroad or designer bag.
2. Kind Act A Day

Do something kind everyday, then you really can say new year, new me! This might mean holding the door open, giving up your seat or picking up something that someone might have dropped. 2025 Is your chance to be a nicer person.
3. Be Brave

Confront your fears in 2024! This doesn’t necessarily mean getting into a tank with 60 snakes but more getting into that committed relationship or furthering your education.
4. Try A New Food

Explore different supermarket, raid the cookbooks and check out local restaurants to try something new at least once a week!
5. Get A Polaroid

Get a polaroid camera and document everything! Make a scrap book and you will never forget any memories. Then this time next year you can reflect on all the fun things you did.
6. Make The Effort

Make the effort to go out of your way and follow through with those plans instead of cancelling and watching Netflix! Lets not lie, no one remembers a night in, so go out and make some incredible memories.
7. Change Your Style

We can all get into that wardrobe slump where we throw on that comfy safe jumper and those jeans that haven’t been washed in 2 weeks. Go out and buy an item of clothing that you wouldn’t normally opt for, maybe something bright or bold.

Switch things up and start fresh, paint your walls bright colours, add some life and new excitement to your house or flat.

We all vow to go to the gym and then never actually go but waste $40 a month anyway! This year spend a little more and get yourself a piece of gym equipment so you don’t even have to leave the house or stop watching tv to get a little fitter.
10. Travel Somewhere New

Life can easily pass up by, with each day being the same old routine! Make sure this year you travel somewhere new and gather those rich and amazing experiences. Whether you travel to the other side of the planet or to that small village out of town, either way you’re making memories.
