The new Star Wars Battlefront game comes out so soon and we’re all getting incredibly excited for its arrival. But what can we do for the next few days until we can get our hands on the final game? Well, we’ve gone out and had a look around on the web to see if we can find activities for you to do before the inevitable day comes.

This is one of the first things we suspect most people are going to be doing before they play Star Wars Battlefront. The film is based on the planets from the original trilogy and therefore, will feel closer to the new The Force Awakens movie more than the prequel trilogy would.

2. Watch the prequel trilogy if you want to know more

However, if you want a little back story to the story of the original trilogy, then the prequel trilogy does a fairly decent show of showing Anakin Skywalker’s dark descent from innocent little boy to the dark side.

3. Check out some videos on YouTube of play during the Beta

There are plenty of videos on YouTube of people playing the Beta when it was out. There may be some new tips and tricks that you could pick up from these videos that will ready you better for the incoming onslaught of brilliant players out there.

4. Read some of the background lore around the Star Wars Universe

There are plenty of books and lore around the rest of the Star Wars universe and we’d highly recommend checking some of these out. They may fill out extra story to some of the planets that you’ll visit and even some of the Hero characters you might be playing as.

5. Check out the animated Star Wars series The Clone Wars

6. Learn the language

Yes, you may not realize but the language that a lot of the aliens speak in the film can actually be translated. In some cases, the films show the subtitles, in others, people have worked out what it means by the conversation context and the response given. This website gives you some lines to learn.

7. Find out your Star Wars name

8. Research more into the planets you’ll be visiting
