Many novels that are set in the future predict mass change in technology, medicine and society. Below is a list of books from the past that predicted many things we now see as normal.
Most of us get our news these days through some form of device, iPads even allowing for digital newspapers. The people in Arthur C. Clarke’s novel use what he referred to as newspads which are strikingly similar to the tablet devices now use by many for numerous things, including keeping up on current events.
