This amazing concept and forward thinking product was put forward on the entrepreneurship show, Shark Tank and had the panel of investors keen to get in on this soon to take off the project (excuse the pun!).

The product itself will price up at roughly $300 or £200, which in the drone world is very cheap for a good product. Compared to a popular drone on the market that has all the same capabilities pricing up in the thousands. The phone drone was thought out and produced by team JD Claridge and partner Charles Manning who is currently a software developer, whilst JD already has a company starting up, xCraft.

The phone drone works so well because it is an amazing item that can be produced and sold for a fraction of the price of a similar drone, without compromising on quality and effectiveness. How can it be as good as one ten times the price? Most of the highly expensive materials used inside a drone such as a camera and navigational technology is what costs the most, so by just creating the shell that flys they save on costs by inserting your own smartphone such as an iPhone that holds all the expensive tech needed.

This phone drone would be perfect for anyone, so they can see their sports activities, taken on holiday, to film events and so much more. Will you be putting a phone drone down on your Christmas list this year? We definitely will be!
