Super Fun Photos of Kids Captured by Their Parents – #6 is Mesmerizing!

Every day our children grow older, developing into these incredible mini-adults with every second that passes. You can practically see them growing-up before your eyes, which is why it’s so important to capture every moment you can of their childhood.

If you need inspiration on how to photograph your children then look no further than these seven amazing parents who really captured the personalities of their kids:

Adrian Murray was inspired to take beautiful photographs of his son Emmerson after they found him unresponsive one night aged 10 months. Thankfully their son made a full recovery, but Adrian made himself a promise in the hospital – a promise that he wanted to capture as much of Emmerson’s childhood on film that he could. Now Adrian, a professional photographer, captures astonishing photographs of Emmerson and his little brother Greyson.

Jason Lee is a wedding photographer by day, but in his spare time he captures the most gorgeous, creative photographs of his two daughters. Jason started his blog to allow his mum, who had been diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma, to see the girls as he couldn’t always take them to visit her – especially when they had colds.

Dave Engledow, a photographer, has created a series of photos with his daughter called “World’s Greatest Dad” with the help of his wife Jen. The series pokes fun at the fact that his daughter Alice Bee is doing all the things Dave should be doing in the photos, which makes for an adorable set of photos.

You can see more of the photos here.

When Kate T. Parker went to take photographs of her daughters her mind sprung to the pink, perfect photographs that people generally take of their daughters. But Kate knew this wasn’t what her daughters were about. Her daughters were loud, messy and strong characters and so the “Strong is the New Pretty” series of photographs were born.

Alan Lawrence uses his photography and Photoshop skills to make his son Wil appear to be flying in their family photographs. Alan says he was inspired by the way his son would crawl as if he was on a runway about to take off. The families on-going family joke captured the hearts of the internet and has inspired many other families – especially those with a child who has Down Syndrome.

Another flying child! Rachel Hulin wanted her son to look like he was flying in her pictures. The great thing about her photographs is that they look like normal, candid shots – bar the fact little Henry is flying.
