Eddie Redmayne has risen through the acting ranks recently and has suddenly become very popular, as the world has finally noticed he is an INCREDIBLE actor! You might recognise him from his biggest movies, Les Miserables, The Theory of Everything and The Danish Girl; of which in all of them he acts amazingly in what could be super challenging roles.
Eddie was one of five siblings and was born and raised in London, which incidentally was where he started the path of his acting career. He studied at Trinity College and was lucky enough to come from a fortunate family where he always had a warm home to live in and relax whilst studying; but he always knew the prices of living in London was super expensive, so knew how fortunate he really was to be able to study and easily live. However, Eddie seems totally down to earth and lately it has come to the surface he really is just as cool as he seems!
Redmayne recognised how fortunate he was to be able to have a supported path to his success, so decided to support those only just embarking on their acting career, but how? As a hugely famous actor, he obviously gets lots of fan mail and within that has been a handful that explained their student financial struggles, from which Eddie listening and acted! Eddie Redmayne, the block buster movie actor is helping drama students in and around London to pay their rent, to help them be able to to achieve their dreams and become budding actors and actresses just like him!
He explained himself, ‘I get letters from people trying to go to drama school and needing to pay their rent. And so that’s something I occasionally do. It’s impossibly expensive to live in London’. This true British gentleman has clearly remained pretty grounded and understands what it truly takes so is there to help his fellow drama friends out.
