If you’re in a relationship you’ve probably heard those dreaded words: “So when are you having babies?”. It’s every couple’s nightmare – broody in-laws and interfering family have a terrible habit of demanding babies. Which is why one couple from New South Wales in Australia took a stand against their family in a hilarious way.
To make fun of all the newborn shoots and their baby-obsessed family, Matt and Abby decided to get their own version of a newborn shoot with their new puppy Humphry. The portraits were taken by the couples friend, professional photographer Elisha Minnette.
The photographs were all taken in a tongue-in-cheek manner. When Minnette posted the pictures on Facebook she never expected they would get the response that they did. But the idea of a newborn photo-shoot with a pet really amused couples who are fed up with constant baby chat. Plus it helps that Humphry is totally adorable.

For once you see in the pram you’ll see there is no newborn baby. Instead there’s the adorable puppy Humphry!
He does look awfully cute in his little pram.
