If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you may not be aware of who Karl Pilkington is. To sum him up, he’s a ‘twonk’, but he’s also a comedic genius. Introduced to the world by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, Karl has been sent on a mission to empower us all with his alternative wisdom and strange musings about life and beyond. You may recognize him from the hit Sky 1 shows An Idiot Aboard and The Moaning of Life.
But what we are really here to talk about is Karl’s head. As you can see from the photo above it is very, very round – almost completely spherical. He also has, as Ricky would say, a “pug little nose, funny gimp eyes with no expression, hangdog look, like a little mouth, like a little lamprey”.
Since, he has a head like no other, we decided to gather some images of things that look like Karl, with a surprising amount of success.
1. Morph
This is Morph – a UK phenomenon who has been around since the late 70s. He is a stop-motion animation clay character who has appeared in numerous TV programmes and advertisments. He has a ball-shaped head, few features and a crooked smile…
…just like Karl.
2. Charlie Brown
This is Charlie Brown. He is a national treasure and long-running protagonist of the Peanuts comic strip. He has a globular head with a few wisps of hair, drooping eyes and a gormless expression.

3. Wall
This is a wall. It has three holes in it and some scuff marks from where an appliance used to sit. The stains emulate a perfect sphere, while the holes make it look as if the face has a deadpan stare and scruffy beard…

Here’s a donut. It’s full of sugary goodness and it looks like it has a strawberry jam filling. It also has a slightly annoyed expression…

5. Baby
This is a baby. It must only be a few months old, but it has a perfectly round, hairless head, beady eyes and bewildered expression…

6. Kettle
This is a kettle. It is used to boil hot water for making tea, coffee or, occasionally, Pot Noodles. It has a drawing of Karl Pilkington’s face on it, and the resemblance is uncanny.

7. Orange
This is an orange. It is a great source of vitamin C and it has a sweet, tangy taste. A picture of Karl Pilkington’s face has been drawn onto it with permanent marker pen. It’s probably inedible now, but damn…
