The London Underground and the New York subway system can be a simultaneously fascinating, expansive and stressful place. You see people who come from so many different walks of life, but they’re all going through the same nonsense of boarding trains, attempting to find a little space and finally getting to their final destination. Instagram artist Rubin decided that he’d spice up his morning commutes to work in New York, choosing to draw some truly bizarre and incredible doodles of monsters hanging out with other subway goers. The results are impressively hilarious, and the illustrations themselves are truly awesome. This clever artist has incredible monsters hang out with strangers on the subway.

That moment when you’re on your way back from work on complete auto-pilot, you put your ticket through the machine and assume that the barricade is going to cooperate. Of course, it doesn’t and you get completely pulverised!

Where’s a worse place for somebody to be eating some hot and smelly food, the train to work or the movie theatre? Either way, it’s pretty reprehensible behaviour in our books…

It might be just a little bit extreme to take this guy’s leg clean off, but we definitely understand where the guy’s coming from when it comes to this particular issue. Especially if there’s no other seats!
A little bit obsessed with all things film and and tennis. You can catch me binging on films and writing furiously about them, or darting around the court like a mad man.
