Ever wondered what your favourite cartoon characters would look like as adults? Well, thanks to these four incredible fan artists you no longer need to ponder the subject! See the animated stars of your childhood transformed into fully fledged grown ups, ready to take on the real world. Warning: Nostalgia overload!
Celeste Doodles
Artist Celeste loves to doodle, and on her website she claims nothing is safe from her pen. Her Tumblr is full of amazing art, including these drawings of the Rugrats as adults. Although it started out as a cartoon aimed at the under-tens, Rugrats was rebooted a few years later for tweens and teens and retitled ‘All Grown Up’. We’d totally watch a version for adults (hint hint Nickelodeon)…

Artist Nuri Durr not only reimagined the crew from PS.118 as adults, but also wrote the outline for a sitcom called ‘Yo Pataki’, which centres around Arnold’s arch-nemesis and secret stalker Helga as an adult and features all of the original cast members. You can find out more about that here, but for now enjoy his wonderful illustrations!
