Let’s not lie, Batman is by far the coolest superhero that’s ever been created. Maybe other than Black Panther, but he’s not quite as popular. Anyway, have you ever wanted to be able to wear Batman’s actual suit? A suit that can deflect knife attacks and can resist punches? Well, Gordan Jackson, industrial design student, has gone and made a suit that would actually protect you in a fight if you ever needed it!
The video was uploaded by Gordon himself to showcase off this suit that he had created to try and look and feel like Batman. What actual purpose this serves, we are unsure, however if the army or anybody is watching and doesn’t yet have access to this sort of thing, he may well be getting a little attention from them.
What makes this video and the suit itself so interesting as that Jackson is clearly a very intelligent guy who knows what he’s doing when it comes to the materials he’s using and what the results should be. The suit utilises kevlar, quarter-inch Kydex plating and impact-resistant foam.
He mentions the fact that the suit is, in fact, impact-proof meaning that all the bad guys ca punch and kick him as much as they like but he’ll barely feel it.
He also says that the suit itself can resist knife stabs and strikes, which from the looks of it, he’s not lying.
For sure, there’s going to be many lads and nerds out there that envy this guy for creating this suit and the fact it actually looks like it works. However, we truly hope that it gets used for better reasons that just hanging out on top fo buildings receiving unprovoked knifings. We would love to see this used either in a military sense or for other wider uses than just a Batsuit. Either way, props to you Gordon, this looks great and looks to work great too!
