5. A teenage boy slipped on an icy patch at his school in China. He fell face first and landed on a wall hook which plunged itself into his eye. The caretaker sawed it off the wall to let the boy free, before he was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. He lost that eye, but it’s a miracle he’s still with us!
