Top Unique Wedding Venues 2022

Are you planning your wedding in 2022 or 2023? These unique wedding venues are the choices to pick one from. If you can spare some extra dollars one of these top unique wedding venues should be your pick.

      1. The Swimming Pool

Manchester’s Victorian Baths allows for you to use the disused baths to conduct your ceremonies. The dramatic and novel idea will stun your guests (particularly when you see just how good a swimming pool can look!)

        2. The Submarines

A truly unusual venue presents itself at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum –the opportunity to get wed on the submarine HMS Alliance. Either you can have the ceremony on board, or during a guided tour. After,  enjoy a reception in the futuristic John Fieldhouse building with harbour views.

        3. The Windmill

Set in picturesque Norfolk, this windmill is near a beach and provides the ideal location for a small, intimate wedding with up to 20 guests in the ceremony. There are rustic rooms available also, so snuggle up and enjoy!

        5. The Haunted Castle

This castle offers midnight weddings. Ceremonies to be held under torchlight, beneath a canopy of stars and the Norman castle ruins in the background. Guests can then enjoy a banquet, and hopefully squeeze a ghost tour in between. With the number of ghosts rumoured to reside at the Tutbury Castle, you will not be disappointed.

        6. The Treehouse

This fairytale setting is beautiful, under the enchanting canopy, with trees covered in thousands of tiny fairy lights, with an open log fire to be warmed in the evening. This rustic setting can hold 60 guests for a ceremony and 85 for a seated meal.

        7. The Gherkin

London’s beautiful skyline is available for hire through the Gherkin. You and your guests can enter the usually private members’ club, up on level 39 with sweeping views of St Paul’s Cathedral and the rest of the cityscape. Champagne under the glass dome at sunset sounds pretty unbeatable.

        10. A Cabaret Club

The infamous Cafe de Paris, where Orson Welles and Vivian Leigh danced their floor, which opened in 1924 can be hired for your own glamorous, decadent wedding reception. Impress guests with the romantic capital location as well as the sweeping staircases and wide stage, often used for cabaret and burlesque acts.

        11. The Cave

For those who enjoy kooky themes, you can get married underground – in a cave. The cave can accommodate for up to 100 people. Due to the structure, the acoustics are supposedly amazing (live band with the ceremony?) You can also have the reception above ground.

        12. The Market Hall

Set in Borough Market, London’s oldest market and licensed for

weddings. The impressive, high-ceilinged Market Hall has a 250-person capacity, while Three Crown Square can host up to 200 people, and has a fully restored Victorian glass and ironwork roof. And of course, what better location for fans of street food? Fabulous.

        13. The Cinema

Marrying at The Little Theatre in Bath is a cinematic experience, from the personalised old-school tickets for your guests (that you can use as invitations) to faux film trailers on the big screen and drinks and popcorn served by usherettes. It’s a little cosy for a reception, but as a ceremony venue (you say your vows on stage in front of the screen) it’s a picture-perfect start to married life.

        14. The House of Magic

This one is pretty cool. This Victorian Mansion, owned by Simon Drake caters for up to 150 guests. Amongst those luckily few, they will arrive blindfolded and be led to the Enchanted Garden for drinks and canapés before an evening of fortune-telling on The Whispering Chair, fun tours of the haunted cellar complete with various ghost illusions and eccentric house staff. Make a wedding your guests will never forget.

        15. The Palace.

If your wedding day is your day to be a complete Princess, why not opt for the Hampton Court Palace and make your dreams come true. With acres of gardens, rich history and a gorgeous backdrop for the photos this is a truly romantic location.
