With Halloween just around the corner, we have started brainstorming some ideas to make sure we look the most original and stand out at all this season’s parties. Instead of being a witch or a zombie, here are some absolutely brilliant and some just hilarious Halloween costume ideas.
1. Headless Zombie
This could either be a headless Zombie or someone having been taken by a zombie, either way it spruces up the zombie idea and looks amazing. This illusion will make the brain work and get you thinking!
2. Rock, Paper, Scissors
This all time classic game has been recreated to a fancy dress costume, this idea is so original and a great costume if you and two friends are heading out for this Halloween season.
3. Sushi Roll
For some, the thought of making sushi can be a slight nightmare, but this little guy dressed up as a piece of sushi is just so cute. This super original idea is amazing for young kids or your could make it an adult suit with multiple pieces of sushi!
4. Pop Art
Face paint is used loads over the Halloween festivities, often to recreate scary faces or fake injuries but here it has been used in a totally original way! Use face paint to create the dot effect and cartoon style face paint that is used within Pop Art.
5. Rocket Chair
Recreate this amazing optical illusion rocket chair for Halloween this year, you could make it slightly more scary but people are bound to be impressed with how magical it looks as you hoover into the party.
6. Google Maps Stalkers
This is a hilarious modern and very inexpensive costume idea, but very original. Be a spooky stalker and go as the markers seen on Google maps to show your location.
7. Lego Men
You are never too old for Lego and everyone loves it. Here they have taken the Halloween favourite idea of Men In Black and created a brilliantly, original lego version of the costume.
8. Mouse Trap
This is another brilliant optical illusion fancy dress idea, where either child or adult could dress up as the poor mouse about the be splatted for a piece of cheese! This is super original and looks like a huge amount of effort has been put in to make this.
9. Jurassic Reverse
Imagine if humans were the ones in cages and in the land of Jurassic World it was the dinosaurs that ran everything, well here we have that! This optical illusion costume is amazing and really makes you have to think, to work out that there isn’t a real dinosaur involved!
10. Hot Sauce
Which favourite sauce brand will you go for, Heinz, Nandos, Hellmans? Either way this is so original, easy to do and looks really cool if you do it as a group.
11. Baby Sub
Combine two of the best things, babies and subways but somehow combined is pretty scary! The idea of eating a baby filled subway is definitely only acceptable at Halloween and the actual costume does look very cute.
12. Blurred Face
This is the ultimate head mess, as it really makes you think and actually makes you feel pretty confused and almost dizzy! This clever girl has drawn her features on her face again to make herself look blurred and pretty disoriented.
13. Brush Those Teeth
For some, when it is time to brush those teeth can be a pretty scary and torturous time! Make Halloween slightly more fun and light hearted with this absolutely adorable toothpaste and brush fancy dress costumes.
14. Father And Son Transformer
This costume is just so cool, what parent wouldn’t want their own baby to look like one of the most awesome movie creations, a transformer. A lot of work has gone into this really cool costume but it has definitely paid off.
15. Toy Story Soldiers
Toy Story is an absolute classic and there are tons of fancy dress ideas that could be taken from the favourite characters, however these guys have gone with the under dogs of the movie and have grouped together to look super awesome as the toy soldiers.
