What is a neat freak and what are the symptoms of a neat freak? If you know or are a neat freak, then you will certainly have your very own pet hates that no one can seem to understand! Well don’t worry, you are not alone; here are just a few of those everyday problems all neat freaks face daily.
When The Tea Bag Drips
There is always that person that will let a tea bag drip all over the kitchen surface, floor, lid of the bin and even the dog! This is super annoying!
Chipped Nails
If you realise you have a chipped nail half way through the day then be sure that this will bother you up until you get reach the closest file or nail polish remover.
Unfolded Clothes
Clothes that are left in a heap or scrambled up are a massive pet hate to all neat freaks, it is far easier to see what you have and conserve space with neatly folded clothes.
Bits On Carpets
Hoovers were invented for a really good reason, so that when you walk barefoot on carpet you don’t have to feel all those miscellaneous bits under foot.
Un-plumped, Positioned Cushions
Cushions are definitely bought for more display purposes than comfort, so don’t let them drop and look messy, c’,mon people give them a good plump!
Upside Down Cutlery
A serious problem all neat freaks hate is opening the cutlery draw to upside down cutlery – why?! Surely it only makes sense to put it all in the right way round.
Un-brushed Hair
Sitting behind someone with messy, un-brushed hair is the hardest thing, as the urge to brush out the knot is too strong.
Toothpaste Left In The Sink
If you are brushing your teeth, always rinse the sink before heading out and starting your day, no one wants to see that reject toothpaste that didn’t manage to find its way to the plug.
Ripped Toilet Paper
Toilet paper has special tear lines for a reason, so why people rip in the middle of those squares is just uncomprehendable.
Crumbs On Kitchen Surface
To all those people that leave crumbs all over the kitchen surface, then please just stop!
Unorganised Fridge
A fridge should have designated sections for different genres of foods, such as jars, fruits, salad and dairy; these should never be mixed up!
Washing Up Piles
The more washing up there is to do, the more you won’t want to do it and it will look disgusting! If you are a true neat freak, you never have more than 4 pieces of washing up to any any given time.
Back To Front Hangers
This is just totally wrong when someone puts a coat hanger back to front on a rail, it not only makes in impossible to lift out but looks so untidy.
Wonky Placemats
If you have placemats that are wonky or on the ‘h’ then re-evaluate everything; they should be neatly in line and placed with care.
Unmade Beds
A room will automatically look messy if there is an unmade bed, there is nothing more satisfying that having a creaseless, crisp bed that is made every day.
