Things aren’t always want they seem to be, especially when it comes to everyday products you use. What you thought had a clear-cut function, actually may have had a different purpose when it was first created.
1. 8. Jingle Bells
So it’s not technically a product, but it was too fascinating to leave out of this list! The classic Christmas carol was written as a Thanksgiving song! It was composed by an American Sunday School choir, and became so popular that it was used for Christmas as well. Since the rest of the world didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving, it was eventually accepted as a Christmas track only.
