Amazing App Lets You Test Tattoos Before Getting Inked

Tattoos can mean different things to different people, whether it is a fashion statement or something meaningful the fact of the matter is it is a huge commitment that we all hope we own’t one day wake up and regret! This has been an age old dilemma as there is not really any easy ways to test a tattoo before going in the deep end and getting the permanent ink, only to find out you didn’t like it in that spot! However, everyone’s inky wishes have been answered with this new app that effectively helps you try before you buy!

The app is called Ink Hunter and is free to download from the App Store with a 4 star rating, which speaks for itself really. This app helps you decide on the placement and then shows you the tattoo in a super realistic way. The ‘tattoo’ that shows up against the skin looks really realistic and is very accurate in terms of placement. It works by asking you to draw a ‘smiley’ on your skin using three lines, then after letting it access your phone or iPads images then you are able to select an image and place it over the recognized lines on the skin! The fact it lets you choose your own images and not ones from their own library is a really cool and unseen feature, so it makes the whole experience a lot more realistic and therefore a lot more helpful.

When drawing the ‘smiley’ it is important to draw it to a similar size to how you envisage you would have the tattoo before you get a chance to feel out how that tattoo would look, save a few pics to get your friends opinion and then give your tattoo artist a copy so that they know exactly what you would like, which makes this app an all round win win!

There is nothing to this standard or even like this on the market already so this is a must download if you are thinking about getting inked for summer or wanting to play around with a few trials!
