This Guy Hydraulically Pressed A Book & Trust Me The Result Will Astonish You!

There is a channel on YouTube, in fact a few channels, that solely produce content of their hydraulic pressing machine crushing all sorts of different things and then playing it back in slow-motion. This may sound really dull, but actually produces some really entertaining viewing.

The channel Hydraulic Press VS is one of the biggest channels that does this and their latest object was a book. Now, that may sound like it wouldn’t be much fun, however it is actually quite interesting to see how all objects react to being crushed and the book is no different. Check out the video below:

As you can see, the book is more or less no match for the hydraulic press, as you’ll see with all the projects they crush actually. The press actually crushes the objects quite slowly, however, this does add to the effect of object slowly being squished smaller and smaller.

The first test then is a little boring. However, the second that they attempt is actually quite interesting as they press the book closer to the edge and it begins to splinter like wood would.

After splintering a little bit, the book then actually cracks into two and creates what looks very much like wood.

You see, something even as boring as a book can be made to look interesting when it is hydraulically pressed into itself!

Not only did the book never stand a chance, but the hydraulic press even crushed it so hard it began to look like wood once again which is almost a metaphor for just how badly the hydraulic press crushed this poor little book. Let’s just hope it wasn’t a first edition!

Let us know below whether you enjoyed this video as much as we did. In fact, we found it quite interesting indeed!
