So Hip-Hop artists are always driving around in these expensive cars and wearing all this flash bling and jewellery, so surely that means they aren’t a heck of a lot of money right? Well, we wanted to go out and find just who the highest paid rapper last year. So we’ve got a great list below of the highest paid hip-hop artists throughout the year of 2021.

One of the biggest rappers ad hip-hop artists in the world is still doing well and was 10th highest paid rapper. Thanks to mainly in part to taking a big cut of his own label’s eight-figure profits.

Unfortunately, the only woman to appear in this list is the one and only Nicki Minaj. However, her earnings have soared over 50% last year thanks to a great year in music and also her endorsements with Pepsi and OPI.

Thanks to a huge Furious 7 duet “See You Again” that saw him gain a huge sum of money and his incessant touring, Wiz Khalifa was 8th highest paid hip-hop artist.

We’ve heard a lot about Kanye being debt lately after a huge payout on the wedding for him and Kim. However, he still made a hefty $22 million last year thanks to a new clothing brand and his album.

Thanks to six shows co-headling at the Monster Tour with Rihanna earning him around $5 million per show and also their pair of shows at Metlife Stadium which grossed them a total of $12.4 million, Eminem is the 6th highest paid hip-hop artists.

However, since taking a step back and producing no music either, his earnings have dropped by half a billion. His main income is through Apple, his production catalogue and his role as Executive Producer of Straight Outta Compton.

Yes, one of the biggest artists in the world right now, Drake, only made it to third on our list. Thanks to 50 nights on tour earning him just under $1 million a night on average and endorsement with Sprite and Nike, he’s had the best year of his young career.

A big jump now is the behemoth that is Jay Z. Arguably one of the most successful hip-hop artists of all time, Jay-Z utilised his 22 shows with Beyonce making a heck of a lot of money there. However, on top of that Jay-Z also has moneymaking ventures in Entertainment company Roc Nation and Armand de Brignac Champagne. On top of this, he’s also the owner of streaming service Tidal.

This may come as a shock as Diddy hasn’t performed much of late. However, he’s a big businessman with moneymaking businesses in his TV Network Revolt, clothing line Sean John, alkaline water brand Aquahydrate and arguably his most famous Ciroc vodka. He is also readying a new album for this coming year so expect to see him remain near the top.
