Jackie nearly always performs his own stunts, though in 1986 he sustained a very serious injury while on the set of Armour of God. He was supposed to jump from a castle wall into a tree and managed to do it without any problems on his first try. The second time he did it, he missed the tree and ended up falling over 25 feet face-first on to a rock. The result: emergency brain surgery. To this day, Jackie has a plastic plug covering a hole in his skull.
The James Bond actor endured two separate injuries while filming 2008’s Quantum of Solace. Not only did he slice off the top of one of his fingers, he also gashed his face and required eight stitches.
While shooting Se7en, Brad unfortunately sustained a broken arm. Instead of production shooting down, Brad’s injury was written into the script.
While performing a stunt, Charlize did a backflip and landed on her neck, which resulted in her suffering a herniated disc. After filming was done for the day, Channing warmed up for one last time, only the crew member had forgot to put river water into the mixture, causing Channing’ privates to be severely scalded.
While at the MuchMusic Awards after party in 2010, Katy had a nasty fall and gashed her leg open. She needed a total of 17 stitches and wouldn’t let this injury get in the way of a live TV performance scheduled for the following week, as she popped up on TV wearing a bandage over her healing wound.
While filming Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Viggo endured a number of injuries and all of them were written into the film! He managed to break a tooth, as well as a few toes. Plus, when filming one scene he almost drowned.
