The Oscar nominations have finally been unveiled, and as usual there are a few upsets that we need to talk about. Great movies have been left in the dust, while talented filmmakers, actors, actresses and beyond have been hung out to dry for lesser cinematic efforts. Let’s take a closer look at the 6 most unacceptable Oscar nomination snubs.Â
There’s a bunch of wonderfully creative writing in this category, particularly including the magnificent narratives of Ex-machina, Inside Out and Bridge Of Spies. But we can’t help but feel that Quentin Tarantino has been wrongly hung out to dry for the work on his most recent film, The Hateful Eight. While definitely not his best film, we think this script deserves more praise than Straight Outta Compton.
