With a new film in production, the world seems to be going mad for everything Star Wars, and the employees of Viking office supplies are no exception. In an office far, far away, four workers used 3,597 post-it notes to create detailed murals of some of the franchise’s most iconic characters including Yoda, R2D2, Darth Vader, and a Stormtrooper. The project took five hours to complete, and measures an impressive 899 ft across!
Viking regularly lets it’s employees get creative when it comes to office decor, and lets its different departments experiment with various themes. The team behind the Star Wars concept were inspired by Ben Brucker’s stunning superhero murals, which transformed his San Francisco office from drab to delightful.
Originally the group wanted to make artworks of their favourite characters – Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. But in the end the team settled on creating murals of characters who had corresponding colours in post-it note form, which makes sense.

Ta da!
By allowing their employees to experiment with the decor, Viking hopes it will not only make the office space a nicer place to work, but also help to get the creative juices flowing more effectively. These awesome artworks would certainly inspire us!
Nice work guys. The force is certainly with you.
