The video gaming world was treated to one of it’s best years in recent memory in 2015 and now it’s 2016, we’re hoping to have some more great games come out that will make maybe even 2015 look like a slow year. But what video games, so far, are we excited to see? The games that have already been announced to be released in 2016 and such. Obviously, there will be a new Call of Duty, a new FIFA and such, but we’re talking about either new games or fan favourites that have already been confirmed. So here are the video games to look out for in 2016, most with some gameplay footage for you to see for yourself whether they’re worth your interest.
The Dark Souls series saw players getting very frustrated with one of the most challenging AAA RPGs in recent years. Along with the thrilling atmosphere, horribly ugly monsters and solid RPG mechanics, Dark Souls quickly became a favourite with Dark Souls 2 being huge. It’s no surprise then that there’s a lot of hype around Dark Souls 3 which looks to bring the game to current-gen consoles and with updated gameplay mechanics.
