Woman Hilariously Recreates Celeb Instagram Photos, And They’re Better Than The Originals

Tired of the unrealistic beauty standards set by celebs, Austrailian comedian Celeste Barber decided to have a little fun at their expense and sparked a social media trend in the process.

Using the hashtag #celestechallengeaccepted on Instagram, Barber is parodying the accounts of celebs such as Miranda Kerr and Kim Kardashian, who are known for their excessive and impractical selfies and snap shots.

Barber initially started the project “for a laugh,” but it has really taken off, with viewers relating to her real life perspective.

“The celebrities think they are doing normal things. Kim Kardashian posing in a pile of dirt – who does that in real life?” Said Barber.

“Really I am turning the mirror back on the celebrities as I am very pro-woman and I get frustrated when people say you should be or act a certain way.”

Barber gets the most hits on the sillier images, and people have actually started sending her celeb pictures they want her to recreate.

The hilarious challenge has been going on for two months now, and if they don’t make you realise how ridiculous celebrity culture is, nothing will.

Take a look at some of her brilliant attempts below!
