You may not be familiar with Rian Johnson’s work, but you soon will be when Star Wars: Episode 8 hits cinemas at the end of next year. Known for writing and directing critically acclaimed films like Brick and Looper, Johnson is a very interesting and left-field choice for directing a movie this huge. Romantic relationships have been at the heart of several of Johnson’s films, and we wouldn’t mind seeing some romance injected into the new saga. Don’t get us wrong, we’re much more interested in light Sabres and Millenium Falcons, but the relationship between Finn and Ray was blossoming in a very interesting way, and we’re intrigued to see where it will go. Maybe they could even set up a love triangle between Finn, Ray and the too handsome for his own good guy, Poe Dameron. Oscar Isaac, you’re simply too handsome and I won’t stand for it anymore.
