Even though celebrities seem to live their life in the limelight, some of them like to keep their children under wraps and protect them from the media. This means that many stars have kids you might not have even known about, and there are a whole host who have five or more children. We take a look at nine celebrities that you might not have realised have more than five children.
Steven Spielberg
Spielberg has a big family, with seven children of his own. With his first Amy Irving, he has one child called Max. While with Kate Capshaw, Spielberg has five children, two adopted daughters named Mikaela George and Jessica, an adopted son called Theo, as well as Sasha Sawyer and Destry Allen.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Brangelina have a mix of six adopted and conceived children. The youngest named Maddox Chivan was born in 2001 and adopted by Jolie from Cambodia in 2002 before the couple got together. The couple also have Pax Thien and Zahara Marley who were adopted in 2007, and Shiloh Nouvel, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
Kris Jenner
One of the stars of Keeping up With The Kardashians, Jenner has six children with two husbands. With Robert Kardashian, Jenner had Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob. Kourtney was born in 1979, making her the oldest of the children. With her second husband, Bruce Jenner, came Kendall and Kylie.
Robert De Niro
De Niro also has six children- Drena Abbot was adopted by the star and was the daughter from a previous relationship of Diahnne Abbot, De Niro’s wife at the time. Abbot and DeNiro also had a son called Raphael. With Toukie Smith, De Niro had twin boys Julian Henry and Aaron Kendrik, and with Grace Hightower De Niro has two more children- Elliot and Helen Grace.
Eddie Murphy
Did you know Eddie Murphy has eight children? And with lots of different women too! His oldest child is called Eric, who Murphy had with Paulette McNeely. He had five children- Bria L, Miles Mitchell, Shayne Audra and Zola Ivy, with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy. Along with Tamara Hood, Murphy also has a son called Christian, and with Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) he has a daughter called Angel Iris.
Mick Jagger
Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger has seven children from a number of wives. With Marsha Hunt he has a daughter called Karis, with Bianca Jagger he has a daughter called Jade, with Jerry Hall he has Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel, and with Luciana Gimenez he has Lucas Maurice Morad.
Bruce Willis
Who knew that Bruce Willis has five children? Although they’re not all from the same marriage. Willis had three kids with Demi Moore, his first wife. These are Rumer Glenn, Scout LaRue and Tallulah Belle. Then with his second wife Emma Heming he had Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn. Evelyn was born just last year.
Kevin Costner
Actor Kevin Costner has fathered seven children in his time, including three with his current wife Christina Baumgartner- Cayden Wyatt, Hayes Logan and Grace Avery. With ex-girlfriend Bridget Rooney he has a son named Liam and with ex-wife Cindy, he has Anne Clayton, Lily McCall and Joe Tedrick.
Mel Gibson
Mel Gibson has eight children, but unlike other men on the list, he’s had all his children with just two different women. His eldest child is called Hannah and was born in 1980 to Gibson’s first wife, Robyn Moore Gibson. They also have six other children together- twins Edward and Christian, Willie, Louis, Milo and Tommy. With Oksana Grigorieva, Gibson has a daughter called Lucia, born in 2009.
