It’s nearly that time of year when the Brit Awards are on. The somewhat divisive music awards ceremony comes back in February 2016 at the O2 and some of popular music’s biggest names, from Adele, Justin Bieber and Coldplay performing. The nominees have been announced and we feel that there are some artists who deserved more recognition than they got.
Benjamin Clementine hasn’t enjoyed as much commercial success as others in this list, but he’s certainly enjoyed a ton of critical success. His debut album At Least For Now not only won scores of favourable reviews, it also won the 2015 Mercury Prize, so it’s odd to see him not recognised by the Brits when he’s clearly very well respected.
