Nicki Minaj is undoubtedly the most successful female rapper around at the minute. It’s safe to say she’s also one of the most prolific: not only has she released several albums of her own, she’s featured on countless other songs from a range of artists, including Madonna, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Katy Perry…the list goes on and on! But, though it may seem like Nicki has collaborated with every big-name artist going, there are some who are yet to work with the rapper, like the following.
The country-turned-pop star rarely does collaborations, most recently teaming up with Zayn for ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’, a song featured on the soundtrack for Fifty Shades Darker.
2. Lana Del Rey
Just like Taylor Swift, the sultry songstress has rarely done collaborations. She recently duetted with The Weeknd on ‘Lust For Life’ but there’s no sign of any Nicki Minaj collaboration just yet…
Adele is yet another artist who rarely does collaborations and a pairing up with the self-styled ‘Queen of Rap’ seems very unlikely.
Zayn’s still early into his solo career having released just one album, but still he hasn’t jumped on the Nicki Minaj bandwagon quite yet.
5. Rita Ora
Rita’s collaborated with another big female rapper, appearing on Iggy Azalea’s ‘Black Widow’, but is yet to work with Nicki Minaj.
6. Ed Sheeran
There are very few artists who can sell millions of records without doing collaborations and Ed Sheeran is one of them. Somehow it doesn’t seem likely he and Nicki Minaj will cross paths and end up recording together any time soon.
7. Fifth Harmony
The now-fourpiece girl group have had rappers jump on their tracks before, so it’s only a matter a time before they unveil one with a Nicki Minaj feature.
8. Little Mix
Just like Fifth Harmony, Little Mix have sometimes had rappers feature on their songs, but one rapper who’s yet to work with the girl group is Nicki Minaj.
9. Bruno Mars
Three albums into his career and Bruno Mars, unlike lots of his fellow chart-toppers, hasn’t yet worked with Nicki Minaj. A collaboration is bound to come sooner rather than later.
