Kids TV today just isn’t the same as what it used to be! For ’90s and ’00s children, there was nothing more exciting than coming home from school, throwing your bag down the side of the sofa, and settling down to CBBC or CITV (depending on your preference)! You all wanted to be a contestant on these 8 TV shows, and there’s no way you can possibly deny it!
Jungle Run was a game show full of adventure and mystery. Every kid wanted to feel like Indiana Jones, ramble through the rainforests and fight off evil monkeys, knowing that they’d get to go home afterwards with a bunch of awesome prizes. The set design looked amazing, and Michael Underwood was like the ‘cool uncle’ no one ever had! One thing that set this show apart was that it didn’t dumb down for kids. There wasn’t always a winner and the physical challenges actually looked difficult.
