Kids TV today just isn’t the same as what it used to be! For ’90s and ’00s children, there was nothing more exciting than coming home from school, throwing your bag down the side of the sofa, and settling down to CBBC or CITV (depending on your preference)! You all wanted to be a contestant on these 8 TV shows, and there’s no way you can possibly deny it!
1. 8. SMart (1994-2009)
SMart wasn’t a game show, but there wasn’t a single one of us who didn’t wanted our homemade drawings and paintings to be featured on the SMart gallery. Every time that iconic theme song played we’d all sit there in awe at the talent of other kids our age, making us want to go straight to our set of crayolas! Those who didn’t get their masterpiece onto SMart, no doubt tried to worm their way onto rival kids TV show Art Attack!
Catchphrase: “Let’s take a look at your artwork!” (or something of that nature).
