5 Reasons You Need To Play Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Playstation 4‘s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has finally arrived, and it’s solidified Sony as the current king of exclusive titles in the always ongoing console battle, leaving Microsoft in the dust. In this truly breathtaking game, you play as Nathan Drake, a jaded and retired treasure hunter attempting to work a normal job and live the quiet life with his wife. But with the return of his his long lost brother, he’s dragged back into a life of globe trotting, gun totting and general chaos. All of the other instalments of the Uncharted series have been thoroughly enjoyable, but in the wake of Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us, the studio have truly mastered the art of combining wonderful storytelling with unique gameplay. Needless to say, the results are undeniably awesome and this third person adventure doesn’t disappoint. Here’s 5 reasons you need to play Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

2. The Experience Is Perfectly Paced

Rather than just throw huge set piece after huge set piece at you, Naughty Dog’s incredible title plays out just like a movie, making you play more calm and understated moments in order to break up the relentless pace of unforgettable action sequences. After a ridiculously epic opening to the game, you suddenly find yourself on a relaxing scuba diving mission, slowly making your way through beautiful corals, sea-life and more jaw dropping environments. It’s a surprisingly relaxing experience and serves as the perfect antidote for the carnage that you’ve just experienced beforehand. The game also captures the arduous nature of the tasks that Nathan and his brother are undertaking, forcing you to  work long and hard to discover locations that lead to incredibly cinematic and unique moments that you really feel like you’ve earned.
