Playstation 4‘s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has finally arrived, and it’s solidified Sony as the current king of exclusive titles in the always ongoing console battle, leaving Microsoft in the dust. In this truly breathtaking game, you play as Nathan Drake, a jaded and retired treasure hunter attempting to work a normal job and live the quiet life with his wife. But with the return of his his long lost brother, he’s dragged back into a life of globe trotting, gun totting and general chaos. All of the other instalments of the Uncharted series have been thoroughly enjoyable, but in the wake of Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us, the studio have truly mastered the art of combining wonderful storytelling with unique gameplay. 5. It’s the most beautiful console game ever, honestly…

It’s rare to play a game where you regularly stop playing through a level to simply have a look around and marvel at the surroundings. From snowy mountains to pirate caves and lush jungle settings, every environment that you navigate is truly breathtaking to look at. The attention to detail is pretty staggering, as well as the shadows and lighting which only help to immerse you further and further into Nathan Drake’s world. Naughty Dog leave absolutely no stone unturned when it comes to their level designs, and we will always love them for it.
