Playstation 4‘s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has finally arrived, and it’s solidified Sony as the current king of exclusive titles in the always ongoing console battle, leaving Microsoft in the dust. In this truly breathtaking game, you play as Nathan Drake, a jaded and retired treasure hunter attempting to work a normal job and live the quiet life with his wife. All of the other instalments of the Uncharted series have been thoroughly enjoyable, but in the wake of Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us, the studio have truly mastered the art of combining wonderful storytelling with unique gameplay. Needless to say, the results are undeniably awesome and this third person adventure doesn’t disappoint. Here’s 5 reasons you need to play Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
The sad truth is that when it comes to story-lines in games, they’re usually pretty bland. They’re almost always formulaic and only created to serve gameplay and huge set pieces that leave you feeling a little cold. Characters are rarely provided with any kind of depth and it becomes difficult to even slightly care about what their eventual fate will be when the game comes to an end. But this is never the case with Naughty Dog. In a similar fashion to 2014’s zombie apocalypse themed The Last Of Us, the game creators give us incredibly immersive, inventive and truly unpredictable narratives, as well as characters that you’ll genuinely care about and be won over by.
