With the dawn of social media, illegal pirating and an ever growing list of solid streaming services, younger audiences are abandoning the silver screen to watch films on their laptops, games consoles, tablets and any other crazy devices that you can plug into on the daily commute. I don’t know about you, but when my local multiplex is mentioned, I immediately think about pretty uncomfortable chairs and cold air conditioning. At home, I can sit on the sofa with my feet up or lay on my bed, and I have the power over one of the most important things in my home, the thermostat. I can make it just as toasty as I want (well, unless money’s a little tight that month…) and curl myself into the most comfortable and probably ridiculous of positions, press play and enjoy the movie in awesome style.
