11 Actors We Believe Should Have Won An Oscar, But Haven’t – #8 is Our Favorite!

There are some actors who win countless awards for their acting ability, then there are some who don’t ever get recognised, no matter how hard they try. When it comes to the Oscars, the most renowned awards in the movie industry, some have been nominated and failed to win. Some have even been nominated several times and have failed to win each time. Not everyone can win one, of course, but there are some actors who we feel should have at least won one by now.

While he’s regarded as one of the most versatile actors working today, Johnny has never won an Oscar. He’s been nominated for Best Actor three times, though his work in films Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Finding Neverland, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street hasn’t been rewarded with an Oscar.

He’s boycotting this year’s ceremony because of the lack of non-white nominees, though Will has earned himself two Best Actor nominations in the past for Ali and The Pursuit of Happyness, neither of which resulted in wins.

He’s been in plenty of movies, but only one has ever earned him a nomination and that was Witness, which was released back in 1985. Alas, it didn’t earn him a trophy.

The actress has had a very colorful and varied acting career, with many top roles under her belt. She was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Wings of the Dove, then earned a Best Supporting Actress for The King’s Speech, though neither earned her a trophy.

Though he’s featured in lots of critically acclaimed films, Liam has only ever been nominated once and that was for Schindler’s List, which many think he deserved to be recognised for.
