Kids TV today just isn’t the same as what it used to be! For ’90s and ’00s children, there was nothing more exciting than coming home from school, throwing your bag down the side of the sofa, and settling down to CBBC or CITV (depending on your preference)! You all wanted to be a contestant on these 8 TV shows, and there’s no way you can possibly deny it!
Incredible Games didn’t last very long, but it stayed in our hearts for years after it left our screens. It was a show that threw away the rulebook and entered a new world of unique quests and challenges. In one of the rounds, contestants got to swim around in a bowl of Alphabet Soup to make words on a giant fridge! In another, kids had to play life-sized chequers with a cloaked figure known as ‘The Dark Knight’ (which was basically Darth Vader using Batman’s alias). Healthy and Safety wasn’t even an issue back then, and the funniest part is, we all failed to realise that the host with the plastic yellow hair was actually David Walliams!
