Kids TV today just isn’t the same as what it used to be! For ’90s and ’00s children, there was nothing more exciting than coming home from school, throwing your bag down the side of the sofa, and settling down to CBBC or CITV (depending on your preference)! You all wanted to be a contestant on these 8 TV shows, and there’s no way you can possibly deny it!
50/50 was a game show that made intelligence seem cool! As well as physical challenges, there were quiz rounds that relied on general knowledge. Whichever contestant got the most questions correct took on one of various obstacle courses throughout the show. One of the best games was the observation round, where a popular music video was played. Afterwards, kids had to remember various details such as what colour shirt Duncan from Blue was wearing. The finale, known as The Avalanche, consisted of a winter-themed inflatable course, which was made difficult due to a fake snowstorm!
