After many years of entertaining Saturday nights spent watching X Factor, we all know the drill with auditions, multiple rounds to pass before eventually getting to the final stage before the live shows… the judges houses.
Over the years, the range of judges have shown off their amazing huge houses, vast grounds and luxury living quarters; so it will come as no surprise that this year Simon had his newest investment as the venue for his groups auditions. As we have learnt over the years, Simon does not do things in half measures and enjoys to be the centre of attention, so he flew his auditioning groups out to his newly purchased Château de Moh in France.
This giant traditional French chateau dates all the way back to the 15th Century, boasting 18 rooms, 10 of which are bedrooms, a pool house, 11 extra rental suites and apartments as well as a moat and huge wall but let us not forget the spa… modest! This amazing house has been a venue to like the likes of ACDC, Brian Johnson and Mick Jagger!
Alongside all the grandeur and stunning grounds lay a darker past. Locals and visitors of the chateau have made confident reports of ghost and apparition sightings on the property, especially around and in The Tower; where in which closed doors open themselves and items move around regularly with no explanation. These spooky stories have been confirmed after being filmed on actual X Factor footage, check it out here. Since this piece of footage, Simon has refused to enter or stay in The Tower, which is claimed to be extremely haunted.

As you can see from the video a man with grey hair passes the window, yet no one on the property or on set knew nor recognised him. Once more, Simon goes on to interrupt the audition to say ‘Sorry, I think I’ve just seen a ghost’. We all know this is pretty uncharacteristic for Simon as he is normally playing it cool and professional, but even he has to hold his hands up and admit that he looks pretty freaked out!
