American Idol is everyone’s guilty pleasure, year after year watching the next best singer make it to the world of fame and stardom! Even though the success stories are what make the show, the other best bits are definitely the judges reactions to the best and obviously the worst of the acts that pass the audition doors! We all have our personal, entertaining favorites but what you’re about to see will have to top that!
Usually, the acts that come into audition aren’t yet famous and have to wait to build their fame and popularity whilst progressing through the show, but this one auditionee features one of biggest names in music and the media today… yes you named it, it is, of course, Kanye West!

Kanye definitely gained extra brownie points by featuring one of the judges in his rap which was, of course, the crowd favorite, Jenny from the block! Plus we get a glimpse of a pregnant Kim supporting his A-list hubby and going along with the joke! The judges and Kanye all seem totally natural as he introduces himself and explains he has never really had the chance to follow his recording artist dreams… could this further from the truth?!
After rapping to his famous big hit tune, Gold Digger, which everyone knows making the joke funnier! He ultimately finishes his audition with the judges not being able to help themselves but to join in, as everyone knows the rap to Gold Digger! Then comes the results… and obviously, who wouldn’t want to miss out on a talent like Kanye West!
This audition was a huge publicity stunt on Kanye’s behalf which might have actually paid off, showing that he can have fun and does have a playful personality to be able to laugh at himself and have the time to do pranks… however, obviously these have to be in front of a camera! We still think he is a pretty self-obsessed person, hence choosing his own song to perform, but can’t help but find this audition super funny and praise him for having a laugh! We wonder who will win this year, American Idol!
