We have welcomed in the new year, the festive season has officially passed, we have given all our gifts and received some too… including some unwanted ones in the form of Christmas chubbiness! After all the amazing food, naughty drinks and sneaky bites throughout December, the excuse ‘it’s Christmas’ soon wears off and reality hits the minute you reunite yourself with the dreaded scales! For most this is the usual story, where everyone rushes to the gym and starts crazy detoxes but for those committed bunch that gym 12 months a year, including December, the new year can be the worst!
